C. R. Bevlas
Author and Illustrator
Hi, my name is C. R. Bevlas, or you may call me Cerberus! For as long as I remember, I always wanted to share stories and be an author that people enjoyed. I am a young adult and starting in 2020, I took writing far more seriously and finished my first novel; "Desiring the Best in Us" in late 2022, and ever since, I felt a greater desire to expand on the world I have created.
All I can hope for is that you are willing to join me in this journey by keeping up with the website for monthly updates, character profiles, and news about any advancements in my writing prowess.
Thank you Corner
CONCEPTERS
For laughing at my dumb memes and having an ear out when I have plot holes and need to ramble excessively. I credit him as well for pitching Desires "Act 5" which I wholeheartedly love. Had a big part in developing Roger and Erin's relationship and silly lovey-dovey moments.
Max Martinez | 2020 - present
For your encouragement in my writing endeavors and listening to me ramble even in my mere drafts.
Mickayla Mills | 2017-20
For helping create Travis Alloy from personality to backstory. He helped a lot in getting the motivation and many ideas to flesh him out.
Preston Thompson | 2021
SUPPORT
For encouraging me to continue to write to talk about these crazy characters and settings, and providing helpful input when I needed it most.
My Family
For being the inspiration for Hawkeye and supporting my art for years and being one of my best friends at the time.
Spencer Hawkins | 2018-2021
For being one of the first true visitors of my website. It is one Work-in-Progress for sure, but your support and curiosity are enough to earn you a spot on the Thank You's list.
Kynzee | 2021
After reviewing my writing through English class, she thought I deserved a better grade and is now hyped about reading my work.
Raquell Williams | 2021
For pitching the idea to continue comics and the idea to sell at cons! He is super supportive as well in the drawing class we have together which earns him a shoutout here.
Ian | 2022
BETA READERS
For helping as an unofficial beta reader when I needed new eyes to look Desires over. Encouraging some changes that overall bettered the story.
Jonathan Gonzales | 2021
A complete outsider who I worked with who after learning I wrote stories, decided he wanted to read what I had to offer. His first question was "Why did you point out a blue wall?" Which made me laugh.
Ty Thompson | 2021
EDITORS
A freelancer editor who was my first step to more professional means for my books. A grand thank you to you, and I hope to work with you more in the future.
Ashley Earley | Dec 2021-22
An editor from Fiverr who was the second pair of professional eyes on the Desiring the Best of Us manuscript. Thanks a lot and I hope to work with you in the future.
